What Is Rapport7?

1,500+ clinical resources for therapists and coaches.

Applied Strategic Therapy, organized for the session you're having right now.

Applied Strategic Therapy is a direct, evidence-based approach grounded in the traditions of Jay Haley and Milton Erickson. It works by identifying what maintains a problem, not just what caused it. Interventions are designed to interrupt that maintenance pattern, which is why results in this model tend to be faster than in exploratory approaches.

The method is well-suited for therapists, coaches, counselors, HR professionals, and anyone who regularly guides people through emotional or relational difficulty. You do not need to specialize in strategic therapy to use Rapport7 effectively. The resources here are organized by situation, so you can find what fits the client in front of you without committing to a new theoretical framework.

Working practitioners who need clinical tools ready before the next session.

Rapport7 was built with two practitioners in mind. The first is a graduate of the Pain Resolution Therapy certification who is ready to specialize in psychosomatic pain and wants the full clinical library that supports that kind of practice. The second is a working therapist, coach, or counselor who has been practicing for a while but still finds moments where they are unsure what to say or do next.

If you recognize either of those descriptions, the tools here were written for your situation.

Everything a working practitioner needs, organized by situation.

Guides

Guides answer a specific question: what do you say in this situation? Each article covers a particular clinical moment. A client who minimizes. A session stuck on the same topic for three weeks. A teenager who won't speak. You search by situation and get a concrete reframe or response, written for use in the room.
