Please read these Terms of Service (“Terms”) carefully before using rapport7.com (the “Site”) operated by Rapport7 (“we,” “us,” or “our”). By creating an account, purchasing a membership, or using any part of the Site, you agree to be bound by these Terms.
If you do not agree with these Terms, do not use the Site.
1. Nature of the Service
1.1 Educational and Informational Purpose Only
Rapport7 provides articles, tools, audiobooks, courses, and other resources related to strategic therapy, family counseling, mediation, HR conflict resolution, coaching, and related professional fields. All content on this Site is provided strictly for educational and informational purposes.
The content on Rapport7:
- Is not medical, psychological, psychiatric, mental‑health, or healthcare advice, diagnosis, or treatment. Always seek the advice of a qualified healthcare provider or licensed mental health professional with any questions about a medical or psychological condition.
- Is not legal advice. If you need legal guidance, consult a licensed attorney in your jurisdiction.
- Is not business, financial, or HR consulting. Materials are educational in nature and should not be relied upon as the sole basis for employment, organizational, or business decisions.
- Does not create or constitute a therapist‑client, doctor‑patient, coach‑client, supervisor‑supervisee, attorney‑client, or any other professional relationship between you and Rapport7, its owner, or its contributors.
Using Rapport7 does not make the owner or contributors your therapist, supervisor, consultant, or advisor.
1.2 Professional Responsibility
If you are a therapist, counselor, psychologist, psychiatrist, social worker, coach, mediator, HR professional, or other practitioner:
- You remain solely responsible for all professional decisions, interventions, and clinical judgment.
- You must exercise your own independent professional assessment before applying any concept, technique, directive, or framework presented on the Site.
- You are responsible for complying with all applicable laws, regulations, licensing requirements, and ethical codes in your jurisdiction and profession.
- Rapport7’s tools (including but not limited to the Case Formulation Wizard, Directive Printer, and Rapport7 Assessment Map) are professional aids and educational prompts only. They are not clinical decision‑making systems, diagnostic tools, or automated treatment plans.
- You must not use any content or tool from Rapport7 in a way that exceeds your competence, training, license, or scope of practice.
1.3 Not for Clients or Patients
Rapport7 is designed for trained and in‑training professionals. It is not intended for use by individuals seeking personal therapy, coaching, medical treatment, or mental‑health care. If you are seeking help for yourself, consult a qualified professional in your area.
1.4 No Emergency Services
Rapport7 is not an emergency service and cannot respond to crises. If you or someone you know is in immediate danger or experiencing a crisis:
- Call your local emergency number, or
- Contact a crisis hotline, or
- Go to the nearest emergency room or emergency service in your area.
Do not use this Site to seek emergency assistance.
2. Assumption of Risk and Limitation of Liability
You use Rapport7 entirely at your own risk.
By using the Site, you acknowledge and agree that:
- You are fully responsible for how you understand, interpret, and apply any information, techniques, tools, frameworks, or materials provided on the Site.
- Rapport7, its owner, contributors, and affiliates are not liable for any direct, indirect, incidental, consequential, special, exemplary, or punitive damages arising from or related to your use of the Site, its content, or its tools.
- We make no warranties or representations about the accuracy, completeness, timeliness, reliability, or suitability of any content for any particular purpose or client.
- Clinical, coaching, and organizational outcomes depend on many factors beyond the scope of educational materials; we do not and cannot guarantee any particular result or outcome.
- Case examples, scripts, directives, and therapeutic frameworks are drawn from clinical practice and the strategic therapy tradition and may not be appropriate for every client, situation, culture, or context.
To the maximum extent permitted by applicable law, Rapport7 and its owner disclaim all liability for any harm, loss, or damage of any kind arising from your use or misuse of the Site and its content.
3. Case of the Week / Case Submissions
3.1 Submission Guidelines
If you submit a case or question for educational discussion:
- All case submissions must be fully anonymized. Do not include real names, initials, contact details, dates of birth, addresses, or any other information that could directly or indirectly identify a client, patient, or other individual.
- You are solely responsible for ensuring that your submissions comply with all confidentiality, privacy, and data‑protection requirements (including but not limited to HIPAA, GDPR, and any professional code of ethics that applies to you).
- Submission does not guarantee selection, response, feedback, or publication.
- One case may be selected per week, at the owner’s sole discretion.
3.2 Publication and Use of Submissions
By submitting a case or question, you:
- Grant Rapport7 a non‑exclusive, worldwide, royalty‑free license to use, modify, adapt, publish, display, and distribute the anonymized submission in any medium for educational and marketing purposes, subject to these Terms.
- Understand that any published case analysis reflects the perspective of the responding practitioner and is not supervision, consultation, or a prescription for your case.
- Acknowledge that published responses are educational commentary only and do not create a supervisory or consulting relationship.
4. Accounts and Membership
4.1 Account Registration
To use certain features, you may need to create an account.
By creating an account, you confirm that:
- All information you provide is accurate, current, and complete.
- You will promptly update your information if it changes.
- You will maintain the confidentiality of your login credentials and not share them with others.
- You are responsible for all activity that occurs under your account.
- You are at least 18 years old (or the age of majority in your jurisdiction, if higher).
- You agree to these Terms and our Privacy Policy.
We may suspend or terminate accounts that provide false information or violate these Terms.
4.2 Free Tier
We may offer a free tier with limited access (for example, use of the Rapport7 Assessment Map and a limited number of full articles per month). Free tier features, limits, and availability may change at any time at our discretion.
4.3 Paid Membership
- Paid memberships give you access to content and tools as described on the Site at the time of purchase.
- Memberships are billed via our third‑party payment processor (such as Freemius, Paddle, or another provider) according to the plan you select (for example, monthly or yearly).
- Prices are listed on the membership page and may change in the future. If we change prices for existing subscribers, we will provide notice in advance as required by applicable law or our payment processor’s rules.
- You may cancel your membership at any time through your account or via the payment processor’s customer portal, as applicable. When you cancel, access usually continues until the end of the current billing period; no further renewals will be charged.
- Unless explicitly stated otherwise on the checkout page, we do not offer refunds for partial billing periods, unused time, or automatically renewed periods.
- We reserve the right to refuse, suspend, or terminate any membership or account that violates these Terms or appears to be involved in fraud, abuse, or misuse of the Site.
5. Intellectual Property
5.1 Our Content
All articles, audiobooks, tools, frameworks, code, case analyses, designs, logos, branding, and other content on Rapport7 are the intellectual property of Rapport7 and its owner, unless otherwise indicated.
You may not:
- Copy, reproduce, distribute, translate, publicly display, or republish our content without prior written permission.
- Use our content to create competing products, courses, training programs, or membership sites.
- Remove or alter any copyright, trademark, or proprietary notices.
Limited personal and professional use: You may use the content and tools in your own professional practice with your clients, within your scope of practice, but this does not grant any license to redistribute the content itself.
5.2 Your Content
You retain ownership of any content you submit to the Site (such as case submissions and profile information). By submitting content, you grant us a non‑exclusive, worldwide, royalty‑free license to use that content as necessary to operate the Site and as described in these Terms.
5.3 The Rapport7 Assessment Map and Frameworks
The seven‑dimension framework (Stabilize, Join, Surface, Reframe, Align, Commit, Integrate) and associated diagrams, prompts, and tools are proprietary to Rapport7. You may use them as aids in your professional work with clients, but you may not reproduce the framework or tools in publications, training programs, software, or competing products without written permission.
6. Acceptable Use
You agree that you will not:
- Use the Site for any illegal, harmful, or fraudulent purpose.
- Attempt to gain unauthorized access to any part of the Site, our servers, or any related systems.
- Interfere with or disrupt the Site’s infrastructure or security.
- Share your login credentials with others, resell access, or allow others to use your account.
- Scrape, crawl, or systematically download large portions of the Site or its content.
- Use the content or data from the Site to train, fine‑tune, or evaluate AI models or language models without our prior written permission.
- Misrepresent your professional qualifications, licenses, or credentials.
- Submit any case material that is not properly anonymized or that violates confidentiality, privacy laws, or professional ethics.
We may suspend or terminate access for violations of this Acceptable Use section.
7. Disclaimer of Warranties
The Site and all content are provided “AS IS” and “AS AVAILABLE,” without warranties of any kind.
To the fullest extent permitted by law, we disclaim all warranties, express or implied, including but not limited to:
- Warranties of merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, and non‑infringement.
- Any warranty that the Site will be uninterrupted, secure, or free of errors.

- Your violation of these Terms.
- Your violation of any third party’s rights.
- Any professional, clinical, or organizational decisions or outcomes related to your use of Rapport7.
- Any submission or disclosure of information that violates confidentiality, privacy laws, or ethical obligations.
9. Governing Law and Dispute Resolution
These Terms are governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of the State of Israel, without regard to its conflict of law principles.
Before initiating any formal legal action, you agree to first attempt to resolve any dispute with us through good‑faith negotiation. If informal resolution fails, you agree that any dispute arising out of or in connection with these Terms or your use of the Site shall be submitted to the exclusive jurisdiction of the competent courts located in Israel.
10. Changes to These Terms
We may update these Terms from time to time. When we make material changes, we will update the “Last updated” date at the top of this page and, where reasonable, notify registered users by email or through the Site.
Your continued use of the Site after any changes are posted constitutes your acceptance of the revised Terms.
11. Severability
