Priority Inventory

Priority Inventory

Use this tool with clients who describe a constant state of busyness without a corresponding sense of accomplishment. It is effective for individuals facing burnout, decision fatigue, or a general feeling of being overwhelmed by competing demands. This worksheet addresses situations where a client’s efforts feel scattered and their core objectives remain out of reach, leading to persistent stress and dissatisfaction.

The exercise facilitates a systematic inventory of commitments, distinguishing between activities based on their actual impact versus their perceived urgency. This process of externalizing and sorting helps the client see where their energy is best invested. It reduces the mental load of non-essential tasks and reorients attention toward actions that produce significant, tangible results.
